Seven Days

Shafeyi Khodabocus

In this short story, the anti-hero undertakes a series of hazardous adventures. The dark world of loafers and drug addicts is depicted, thus highlighting the flaws of modern civilization. The third-person narrative does not undermine irony, sarcasm, denunciation and satire that lay stress on the conflicts between the individual and the family, on the traumas inflicted by
the latter on the former.
